On CNN I found some video’s from the earthquake moment. I mean I’ve experienced a lot of earthquakes when I used to live in Iran, but nothing like this….

And later on video’s where you can see the destructive power of the tsunami which easily wipes out almost everything!

When I saw the video above I was really amazed with its incredible power. Also sometimes it looked like some special FX from a movie, but I knew it wasn’t a movie and only reality!

Now a day after the tsunami in Japan and all of its destruction, it seems that the tsunami reaches US and continues with destructions… For more info and news watch: CNN!

A lot has has happened this year but I’ll come back to that in a separate post later. As 2010 comes to an end I’d like to take this opportunity and post to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! May all your dreams come true and may 2011 be a happy, healthy, safe and prosperous year for each and everyone of us!

So this has a big impact on almost everything, even on those big trucks! So what will help them when they’re stuck in the snow? Yeah SUV’s and in one case a rally car…

So that’s what Glow is about and yesterday we finally had some time to visit it! I also managed to take a couple of pictures and 2 short movies.. I really hope that The Netherlands will win tonight! So give it up for the world’s next champion; THE NETHERLANDS!

UPDATE: Unfortunately The Netherlands didn’t get that far and lost the match due to the “good” (uhm uhm…NOT!) referee and that’s when Spain became the world champion! Well, Congratulation to Spain!

This news has been all over the media all day and while I was at work I heard some journalist interviewing a lady who lived in Colorado. She was crying and she was really happy about Obama becoming the president of the USA.
She said:”America is free again! I really think this is going to change the world and also our lives. The U.S. needs a facelift and he’s the one who can give it.”
Anyway..I think Obama is about to doing some great things and he needs good luck, cause Bush didn’t leave anything good behind.

This is a carton which was published in Spits, a free newspaper which is available in the buses and the trains all over Holland.  It says: Bush, Thank you for 8 years of good care!

The picture was published in Metro, a free Dutch newspaper, some days ago.

Like I wrote some time ago when I got my PR2: It’s just a number and it’s not important for me, however I do like it!

Before I would install Vista I wanted to make sure if my computer can handle Vista, so I installed Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor . According to Vista Upgrade Advisor my computer can run Vista.

Now the things is;

1. Do I really need it? I mean Windows XP Pro hasn’t let me down so far and it’s running pretty smooth and fast.
2. The driver problems. I have checked and all of the drivers have updates and they all say that it would run just fine, but should I believe them and are stable?
3. I know that Vista had a lot of problems but I also have heard that most of the problems are solved with the SP1 for Vista. So if I upgrade to Vista am I going to have troubles with Vista?
4. Home Network: If I’m going to install Vista, can I make a home network with the other two XP computers which we have?
5. Applications: Would all my favorite applications run in Vista?
6. Would Vista run as smooth, fast and stable as Windows XP??

   

So I don’t know what to do! Should I stick to Windows XP for a while longer or upgrade?? Hmm.. Though choice!

EDIT: Some days ago I recieved a comment from Cody from Windows Vista Team. He told me that Microsoft has set up a Vista Compatibility Center at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility and this will let you perform a search on your hardware and software, it will let you know if they are compatible, and it will point you towards the drivers and updates you’ll need to make sure your computer will stay running smoothly. It’s a pretty nice centralized resource not only for people who just upgraded to Vista, but also for people who look at their current PC and digital device setup and want to find out “Will this work with Vista?”
